While it is not clear at first glance, Rinnosuke has been around for quite a while. It's even said that he knows about the previous Hakurei descendant, as well as the establishment of the Hakurei Shrine and its purpose. Taking a great interest in the outside world, Rinnosuke set up a small antique shop named 'Kourindou' which is located near the Forest of Magic. However, it was clear eventually that the lohttp://touhoumuck.wikia.com/index.php?title=Rinnosuke_Morichika&action=editcation was a bad one as he rarely gets customers and the few rare visitors he does manage to get tend to be annoyances. Additional problems arise from the fact Rinnosuke has poor business sense and a pack rat mentality, and would much rather keep a great deal of the various items he gains for himself. Never the less, he tries to remain civil, even if he can get a chance for 'revenge' by causing some minor grief among his 'regulars'.
Blunt, considerate, and a touch irritable, Rinnosuke's personality can be summed up as being 'all business'. Considering the few customers he receives usually end up trying to steal things, he has little patience for people that do not have an interest in paying or simply wish to loiter for no apparent reason. However, he is not unknown to donate an item or two if a cause is just. If he has a guest, then it's only proper to set tea out and be civil. The few times he would venture from his shop; Rinnosuke takes in a bit of a personality shift, becoming a bit more social yet mindful of the fact he is constantly surrounded by powerful beings; many of whom have the ability to rend the laws of the universe at a whim. This does not mean that he is not a little fiendish at times on how he treats some people. After all, one has to have fun, right?
