Background[edit]

Much about Keine is unknown, or is constantly in flux. She was not born as a were-hakutaku, but how she became one is among the several unknowns. As a human (or, semi-human, at least), she has felt a great connection with them. As such, she has always felt a need to try to protect them in any way possible. She has connections with the leader of the village, but this too is undefined. All that is known is that she can't affect the leader's clan's history. In the end, all that can really be determined in her past is that she has a small school and collects an archive of history in Gensokyo, and that, when threatened, she will not hesitate to destroy anyone who may wish harm on the village.

Personality[edit]

Keine is a bit hasty. She tends to fire first, if the village becomes threatened, and her hataku form is hotheaded and rather testy. Otherwise, she is a lot calmer, and can be quite amiable. She tends to want people to learn and will not hesitate to teach where she can. She would be more than pleased if people actually asked her for it, but absent of that, she may yet teach them. Whether they like it or not. Friends of the human village tend to be friends of hers, and she does not even consider herself an enemy of Eientei. She personally considers that whole mess somewhat immature, with how long it has lasted. She is also fond of politeness and courtesy, so show a little respect.
